UTILIZATION: a hunting dog for marshy meadow, field, steppe, upland and waterfowl. With working trial.

The Russian Hunting Spaniel is included in the large group of hunting dogs of spaniel breeds.

Formation of a new "Russian" spaniel continued after the end of World War II. The breeding work gave the opportunity to create The Russian Hunting Spaniel breed based on the surviving number of livestock during the war and imported dogs.

Russian Spaniel has all the required qualities for hunting dogs: endurance, good intuition, energetic search, persistence, innate tendency to serve.
